We can use our yoga class to practice grounding and connecting with our planet more deeply. When we are connected fully with our Mother Earth we can have a sense of belonging and feeling that we are strong, resilient and capable to be ok even if the worse of the situation that we face. Yoga can help us to connect deeply with ourselves to start to listen to our body, that soft voice that let us know what is going on inside of us. When we learn to listen, to pay attention to that voice we can avoid fall into pain or illness because we can catch the subtle signals that our body is sending before it has to scream for you to listen... When you bring your whole presence and awareness into your yoga practice, you can trust the movement of your body, without fear, without doubts... Let the movement brings you deeper into the connection with your body, with yourself and just listen... When you take time to listen to your body, to your feelings, you can start to trust your intuition and your wisdom. So, trust the movement, trust your body, trust Yourself!

Peeling one layer at the time... Like an onion... When we work in our emotional body (on physical yoga postures or through visualizations or with chakra work, we know that we are helping ourselves to heal, releasing old past hurts and emotions. We hear: Let go... Let go tension, stress, emotional pain... And we do it, sometimes with all we got!! We commit ourselves to try to do our best to release as much as we can. Sometimes it is really easy. We find immediate relief and ligthness and freedom. Other times we feel it not before we go though a tough period of sadness, anger and discomfort as we can relive those situations that caused us pain. And we accept it as we know that we have to go through that process... But, we forget about the onion! (sorry? what??) Yeah, the onion effect... Even if we really felt that we let go a lot and we think yeahh we did! I am free now! another wave of pain come up and you think: are you kidding me?? (we could add the F word in the middle!!) Because our pain is embedded in ourselves through layers. It is really rare that happened all at once and in one part of our body or soul. It is saved in our different structures in different times and moments. Some superficial, some really deep. So, when we start to work in releasing the pain, we have to know and be prepared that we are peeling ourselves as an onion. One layer at the time. But it is a good thing! Every layer that we peel, uncovers a deeper layer of pain that is visible now and can be released now with ease. That gives us time to readapt, to enjoy the new freedom and get prepared to take the next layer. Sometimes feels easy, sometimes feels really hard. But not matter how hard it is, the benefits of work in our layers is immense!! So, don't delay! Get to work in the onion of your emotional body!! With confidence, trusting that you are fully supported in the process, with love, with compassion, with understanding, with patience... Just remember, one layer at the time! |
