Hi and thank you very much for visiting my web page!
My name is Claudia and I am a skilled yoga teacher originally from Argentina, although
I have been living in beautiful Ireland for fourteen years.
I have always loved exercise because of its great health and mental benefits,
so I pursued a career in Sport Sciences and Physical Education,
followed by innumerable training courses, where I studied different approaches to exercise
as well as Anatomy, Kinesiology and Physiology in depth.
In addition, I am a former gymnast who represented Argentina in several international competitions
and I have coached several champions as well.
Working already as a PE teacher, I came to yoga and I immediately realised that yoga was the point where my natural talent
for exercising and my passion met. Through the practice and teaching of yoga, I found my true best self.
I am really fond of teaching yoga to retired people since I love to make a difference in people's lives.
Living a fulfilling life doesn’t mean keeping constantly busy, but picking up healthy habits and getting involved in quality activities to
live a full, satisfying life.
Yoga is definitely one of those activities! It refreshes body and mind and it’s totally adaptable to people with different physical
abilities and conditions. It involves safe, gentle and effective movements to enhance muscle tone, balance and breathing capacity and keeps
joints flexible, while improving sleeping patterns and mood, among other remarkable benefits.
I have also designed a chair yoga sequence for seniors with limited mobility, which increases their range of motion, flexibility and muscle strength and
helps alleviate tension and fatigue.
I am always expanding my understanding of yoga and mindfulness. My wide knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and
Kinesiology is a crucial resource that allows me to offer a safe space where seniors can receive the wonderful
benefits of yoga.
I am also a caring, genuine teacher with a non-judgemental attitude and I always make sure I build a comfortable, pleasant environment for people to
feel at ease and enjoy their yoga practice to the fullest. Teaching yoga is not my job. It is my passion!

BENEFITS OF YOGA
It is well-known that the regular practice of yoga offers an outstanding range of benefits.
At a physical level, yoga greatly increases flexibility, which will help you in your daily tasks.
At an emotional level, yoga enhances your emotional well being and self-esteem.
It creates mental clarity and calmness, helping you be more focused and relaxed and relieving stress.

The incorporation of breathing techniques increases your lung capacity, which in turn will restore your energy.
In addition, the synchronisation of breathing and movement will enhance your concentration and self-control.
The continuous practice of yoga has also positive effects on the endocrine system and therefore
can help women transition into menopause and people with hormonal imbalances.
An adequate intake of calcium in the diet plus a regular yoga practice will prevent osteoporosis, since yoga is a form of weight bearing exercise that
protects your bones. It also prevents and helps overcome arthritis, improves joint pain and flexibility.
The gentle moves increase blood circulation which, in turn, reduces swelling and increases the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the join tissues to help their healing when needed.
