I started going to Yoga Fitness a few weeks back when the muscles in my right knee stopped me from hiking up the Wicklow & Sligo mountains. I knew that yoga was the best way to regain full fluidity in my body because of Ryan Giggs, Manchester United striker, and I was lucky enough to go to Claudia's class for a free first session. She is by far the best teacher of Yoga I've experienced, always directing you with clear instructions, allowing the body to fully stretch into the pose before moving on in a continuous motion throughout the class that leaves me feeling energised, limbered up, and awake. She a brilliant teacher and I'm sticking with her for the winter months because I need to be in top shape when the Spring comes and I get out onto those mountains again.
I just want to say how much I am enjoying the yoga classes at Yoga Fitness . I have poor flexibility and needed help in getting this sorted . It has not taken long to notice my hips are so much looser and I can feel the benefits since I joined the classes. I would highly recommend Yoga Fitness to everyone. June 2014

Claudia is a gifted teacher and a constant inspiration. Her compassion and sense of humor create a relaxed and enjoyable environment in which to learn!
My yoga and body toning practice has positively affected both my physical and mental well-being and Claudia's enthusiasm and warmth motivate me to integrate yoga into my life. My only regret is that I didn't start much sooner.

"Finding Claudias classes was like finding a little slice of heaven.I had heard her classes were good but that does not do her justice- it's more than that. She has something special no one else has.

I have been attending Claudias classes for over 2 years now and with good reason too. Claudia has a very distinctive and personalised way of teaching both Yoga and Pilates. She is very much in tune with everyone's needs and she gears her classes to suit so. The classes are always varied which makes them interesting and fun and with the obvious health benefits. She has created a friendly and community orientated vibe and has made it a very affordable option for people to attend and stay in shape in both body and mind. June 2014

I have attended Yoga Fitness Dublin now for almost 2 years. Claudia is a very experienced instructor and also very patient with amateurs like me!
Last year I trained for an Ironman triathlon and found that my weekly yoga class was essential for maintaining a fit, flexible and stronger body. I also found the yoga classes to be excellent for my recovery periods following long bike and run sessions.
I would fully recommend Claudia’s yoga studio for sports at all levels.
Up to last year I always had Yoga down as a class that only women did. I was initially quite sceptical about starting, but I'd now say it's been the single most beneficial change I've made for my running, cycling, swimming and football.
I'm injured less and find that my recovery time between sessions (especially running) has reduced. My balance and stability has improved in hill running. My general flexibility has increased and I even notice simple things like less discomfort when sitting at my desk for long periods.
The classes in Yoga Fitness are accessible, open, and well paced, allowing you to improve in your own time without feeling overwhelmed. I can't imagine not having Yoga as a regular part of my week now!
It is well over a year now since I started your weekly Yoga class.At first I was looking to improve flexibility and core strength but even though I knew that Yoga was the way to achieve this there was the daunting prospect of entering a 'Woman's World'.
Once I got started I found this was never an issue and after a while my football and golfing friends started to ask, ' that Yoga stuff, where do you do that? Heard it was good for you and thought of trying it myself' but then the conversation quickly reverted to football and golf.
I invariably feel great, physically and mentally, after our class, especially after a number of months when I started to feel that I was actually 'getting it'. I may never achieve the Lotus position but if trying helps me do all the other things in life I will keep turning up.
Oh yes, all the women in the class have been very helpful. There's no reason for any man not to turn up and just give Yoga a go!!

I have been training in various Crossfit gyms around the country for the best part of 3 years now. I was attending classes 5 times a week for the first year. The sheer volume of the training mixed with my lacklustre approach to warming-up before working out and my failure to follow a cool-down and post-stretch routine eventually took its toll on my body.
My mobility started to diminish in my lower body and shoulders. As well as that I began to experience a lot of stiffness and pain in my lower back muscles especially when performing kettlebell swings and doing heavy lifts in exercises such as deadlifts, squats, olympic lifts etc. At this point my strength gains completely plateaud and I could only train every second day due to aches, pains and general stiffness. The standard and quality of my training was beginning to decline so I decided to try Yoga in an attempt to fix the issues that had been holding me back from developing my strength and fitness. I felt confident that attending Yoga classes on a relatively regular basis would remedy my physical ailments over time.
The turnaround was quite dramatic. Within a month the tightness in my lower back had significantly decreased to the point where it was barely noticeable; my shoulder mobility had improved and the flexibility in my adductors, hamstrings and glutes had greatly increased. From that point on, my performance in Crossfit became much better. I never felt any tightness or strains when training and this allowed me to perform to my true potential. The development of my mobility and flexibility allowed me to improve my technique and therefore lift more weights when Weight lifting or Olympic lifting. I was now setting all kinds of personal records and exercises like power cleans, back squats, clean & jerk, front squats, power snatches and deadlifts were getting heavier on a weekly basis.
I am continuosly making progress in Crossfit now and thanks to the combined crosstraining effect of Yoga and Crossfit I am able to comfortably train in both disciplines 5 times a week each with no pain or discomfort. I would strongly recommend to anybody who plays sport or undertakes a lot of intense physical activity to incorporate Yoga into their regime as it has a great therapeutic effect on the body and will help you perform to the best of your ability on a regular basis.
